Chartered Physiotherapist and Clinic Owner

John holds a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree and is a registered member of the Health Professions council. He also has a Masters in Sport and Exercise Medicine. He has extensive experience in both the private and sporting sectors. He has worked with Middlesbrough Football Club and Ulster Rugby. He uses a combination of manual therapy and evidence based rehab to help clients achieve optimal treatment outcomes

Aimee Adams

Aimee Adams

Chartered Physiotherapist

Aimee is based in our Ards clinic and holds a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree and is a registered member of the Health Professions Council. She specialises in the treatment and rehabilitation of back and neck injuries, having done further training in this area. She has a keen interest in sport; coaching Regent hockey and working as a match day physiotherapist for Donaghadee Rugby.

Emma Kilpatrick

Certified Massage Therapist

Emma has a BTEC national certificate in massage therapy and has 12 years experience working in a local spa. Emma believes prevention is better than cure and has many clients that see her on a regular basis. She is currently undergoing further training and will be offering dry needling appointments later in 2023. In her spare time Emma enjoys reading, walking her dog and playing with her two kids.

John McClean

John McClean

Chartered Physiotherapist

John holds a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree from Trinity College Dublin, graduating with First Class Honours. During his training, he gained extensive experience across musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and private practice settings, including placements at Cavan General Hospital, Santry Sports Clinic UPMC, and SPARC Private Practice.

He has worked with a wide range of clients, from everyday people managing pain and injuries to athletes wanting to return to play. His roles with Glentoran Ladies, Down minors and a private massage clinic in Belfast provided valuable hands-on experience in sports massage, first aid, and rehabilitation support.

John’s approach places strong emphasis on strength and conditioning principles, ensuring clients not only recover from injury but also return stronger and more resilient. He is passionate about musculoskeletal rehabilitation using a combination of manual therapy, evidence-based rehab, exercise prescription, and patient education to deliver the best outcomes.

Laura McCann

Laura McCann

Chartered Physiotherapist

Laura holds a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree and is a registered member of the Health Professions Council. During her time working in a ski resort in Austria, she was responsible for the comprehensive management of acute skiing-related injuries. She assessed, diagnosed and formulated tailored treatment plans for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Her qualification as a sports masseuse, combined with her specialised knowledge in movement mechanics and rehabilitation, enables her to restore function and strength. She uses hands-on therapies to educate patients on injury prevention and pain management, helping you to recover faster and maintain peak performance. Her work with teams leading basketball sessions, and teaching advanced sports classes, allows her to support you to take ownership of your recovery and long-term well-being.

Ben Hesnan

Ben Hesnan

Chartered Physiotherapist

Ben holds a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy and is a registered member of the Health and Professions council. He is also in the process of obtaining his Masters in Sport and Exercise Medicine. He has prior experience in working both in private practice and with sports teams and athletes from amateur to elite levels in a wide range of different sports.

He uses an active approach to pain and rehabilitation combining education, evidence based exercise prescription, strength and conditioning principles and manual therapy skills. This ensures his patients not only recover from their pain, but become stronger and improve all aspects of their health and fitness along the way.
